Duties:

• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Detect faultfinding and make repair accordingly.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read architect and engineering drawings.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• Clean and adjust electrical equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment, materials and tools on the work vehicle and job site are kept in a safe and secure manner.
• Ensure that compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations

Required:

• Grade 12/Matric
• Electrical Engineering/N4 Certificate
• 3-4 years related experience
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Deadline driven 
• Detail orientated
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be physically fit 
• Highly motivated individual with strong self-management skills
• High level of trustworthiness and ethical conduct
