Angela Quintal's Twitter profile says she's a news junkie, with a passion for newspapers and good coffee. In November 2011 she travelled an hour up the N3 from Durban to become the editor of The Witness in Pietermaritzburg after two years of editing The Mercury. She lost her favorite coffee shop, but not her love of print.

Angela had every intention of becoming a constitutional lawyer, but half way through her LLM, left Rhodes to become a reporter in Johannesburg, covering South Africa's transition to democracy. She rose through the ranks at various media organisations from general reporter, to political, parliamentary and presidential correspondent, to parliamentary editor, executive editor and editor.

When she's not in the newsroom, she's probably looking for a decent skinny latte in the Midlands.
