Swiss celebrates 15 years of flights between JHB and Zurich
It has been 15 years since Swiss International Air Lines first introduced its flight between Johannesburg and Zurich on 1 April 2002. Since then, Lufthansa Group subsidiary has introduced daily flights between the cities in its Airbus A340-300.
Johannesburg is still one of the key components in Swiss' network as it aids in expanding joint trade and tourism between South Africa and Switzerland.
In addition, Swiss also offers South Africans travelling to Europe with shorter connecting times given Switzerland's central location on the continent.
