Equites lists of JSE's main board
The listing takes to six the number of main board listings this year - hardly a boom - but a significant turnaround from a couple of lean years on the listings front.
The property sector has taken up the bulk of the space with Equites being the fifth property fund to list this year.
Equites' portfolio consists of 17 prominent industrial and office properties valued at R1.2 billion situated in the Western Cape. Major tenants include Simba‚ Foschini‚ and Barloworld.
Chief Executive of Equites Andrea Tavern-Turisan said the company was well placed to meet its growth targets while continuing to show positive income and capital growth.
