Riviera on Vaal to be managed by Legacy

The Riviera on Vaal Hotel and Country Club has entered into a strategic relationship with Legacy Hotels and Resorts, meaning that the African-based hotel management company has been managing and marketing the hotel since 1 October 2009.

Dating back to 1929, the Riviera on Vaal Hotel and Country Club boasts a successful and historical background. The double-storey establishment set the benchmark in its formative years of bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Purchased in 2003 on auction by entrepreneur Mac van der Merwe for the Zorgvliet Portfolio, the property underwent extensive refurbishments, reopened three months later, and has since enjoyed permanent five-star status.
