The SpaceStation tees off with the ABF

The SpaceStation, a long-time supporter of the Advertising Benevolent Fund (ABF), was proud to participate in the Fund's President's Cup Golf Day held at Wanderers in Johannesburg this year. The company sponsored a four-ball and a drinks table.

Sharlene Vallance from the ABF said that the event had raised almost R75 000 and that it was the ongoing support of the industry that allowed them to assist industry members in need. "Without companies like The SpaceStation who come to our aid we would not be able to continue to do the work that we do. We spend about R50 000 a month just on food bills for people who depend on us. Events of this nature help us raise the much needed funds and help us rest easy, if only for a little bit, before going back to work," said Vallance.

Says Kathryn Astbury, The SpaceStation's Brand Manager: "We are always very proud to support the ABF. It is heartening to see that the organisation is raising enough funds to continue their valuable work in our industry."

Over the years The SpaceStation has been a strong supporter of the ABF including the sponsorship of several of their golf days and ten-pin bowling events.

Two of The SpaceStation's four-ball team did well enough to get into the top prize category, finishing on 41 points each. Overall, all who participated in the fundraiser enjoyed a great game of golf.
