Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Must be able to do basic mathematical calculations to ensure correct process parameters
- Blend the scrap mix to ensure that changes are in conformance to melting specifications
- Ability to operate excavator in confined spaces
- Monitor the charging and melting of steel to determine conformance to melting specifications
- Operates forklift, grab and front end loader during routine performance of duties
- Recognises waste streams and minimises waste generation
