Sales Manager
A company in the hardware/buildware industry is looking for a seasoned sales manager to join their team in George.
Salary: R30,000 basic salary + commission
Non-negotiable requirements:- A stable background in a sales management role within the hardware/buildware industry
- Must be able to provide payslips
- Energetic and vibrant personality
- Ability to manage a team of 10+ employees
- Tertiary qualification in sales, management, or similar
Responsibilities:- Team leadership: Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to meet or exceed sales goals, including analysing market trends and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Customer relationship management: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, addressing customer concerns and ensuring high levels of service.
- Sales reporting: Monitor sales performance, prepare sales reports, and analyse data to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Training and development: Train and mentor sales staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Inventory management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure stock availability while minimising excess inventory and reducing stock-outs.
- Budget management: Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Marketing and promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns and sales events.
- Customer feedback: Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve products and services and address any issues.
- Compliance and procedures: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
