You will be part of a small but busy competent Sales Team, a supportive group of African Travel specialists striving to provide service excellence to all our New and Long term clients. 

What will I be doing?

• As an Experienced Travel Sales Consultant, you will service travel enquiries in Southern and East African destinations.

• Develop strong relationships with clients and suppliers and maximise revenue opportunities for Siyabona Africa.

What are we Specifically looking for ? 

Requirements. · Experienced Travel Sales Consultants · Travel Professionals 

• A Profesional Travel Consultant with at least five years of Southern and East Africa Sales experience combined with an excellent understanding of packaging Air, Lodging and Safari components.  
  
  
• You have a complete understanding of road and flight logistics to get to and from any Neighbouring Border Countries, i.e. across various other vital points of interest, i.e. Kruger National Park, Botswana, East Africa and South Africa, Vic Falls, e.t. as an addon and package opportunities.

• You have proven travel experience to most Southern and East African destinations and extensive experience selling African Safari and Nature Reserves Luxury products. 

• You can handle a multi-generational family gathering in the bush to a Small Business Conference, nothing too small, and you have no fear of new challenges.  

• You are an Experienced Sales Driven committed to delivering exceptionally high customer service.

• You are very confident in telephone manners, an excellent communicator in English speaking and writing, and ideally also speak other languages. You also have a good level of IT skills, combined with outstanding sales ability.

What are we Specifically looking for?

• A Tourism Graduate with a diploma, certificate, or associate degree in travel or tourism.
• You have a very good understanding of Southern and East African destinations.
• You have no fear of new challenges.  
• You are a committed Individual committed to delivering exceptionally high customer service.
• You are very confident in telephone manners, an excellent communicator in English speaking and writing, and ideally also speak other languages. You also have a good level of IT skills, combined with outstanding sales ability.

It would be advantageous for the Experienced Travel Sales Consultants position for you to demonstrate in addition the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Proven sales record and five years of experience selling FIT packages.
• Excellent knowledge of neighbouring destinations in Southern and East Africa.
• Have an excellent working knowledge of reservations and presentation systems i.e Travelogic and Wetu.
