Hertex, a leader in the décor industry, has an opportunity for a junior digital designer to join its internal marketing team. We’re looking for a vibrant talent who can make a solid contribution in a fast-paced environment where deadlines, quality and style carry equal weight, and an interest in digital design and interior trends are non-negotiable.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of Hertex’s senior digital designer.
Responsibilities include:
Designing and rolling out creative elements for websites, digital and social media campaigns
Preparing sales material, such as in-store signage, swing tags and packaging
Resizing imagery for optimal web viewing
Taking responsibility for studio administration
Knowledge and skills required:
A recognised qualification in visual communication, graphic design or digital design
A solid working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is essential
Experience in After Effects, Premiere Pro or any other video editing software as well as Lightroom is advantageous
Experience in Mailchimp is advantageous
Personal qualities:
Able to adhere to brand guidelines while displaying creativity and innovation
Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Be collaborative and helpful, and able to work well both in a team and independently
Be consistent and efficient, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
Able to deliver on feedback from marketing management and senior designers
Posess excellent self-management and communication skills
