Good report. It would be interesting to know what differeciates the freelancers who earn more to those who earn less. To know what sets them apart. Is it ther skill set, education, experience or networks?
What a different perspective from all the articles we read about that encourage the opposite. The way the world and our industry is constantly evolving, I did not think that there are still people that still consider this. I myself feel challenged by what how you see things. Nice piece
Thanks for sharing this Claire, as a PR graduate I have went through a few internships myself and I must say it is really annoying when a company hires you only to stack you with the work load they don't want to face. I'm the type of person to appreciate every type of experience but there should be growth. As a graduate, there's nothing I want more than experience and people who are willing to dedicate time and effort to my growth. But then our lectures have always made the sad reality of the industry clear to us.
