#BizTrends2019: Online car sales - destructive disruption or unique opportunity?
.I can't imagine that someone would want to buy a car entirely online. With the kind of money that you're spending on it, at the very least, you're going to want to take a test drive to make sure that even a brand new one is in good working order and doesn't have any quirks!

Location and voice technology are the future of retail
Retailers have to view this situation from their personal standpoint. What is it that is keeping them from visiting physical stores? It is the line at the cashier's or is it the poor customer service? They need to improve the most common factors before they can attract the shoppers back to the storefronts.

Location and voice technology are the future of retail
I have seen a number of applications that showcase businesses in terms of location and mapping and it's an interesting concept. The thing is that there will always be people who would go to one app or another. I would hold off until a clear winner in the field is found to maximise you dollars on such avenues.

Demystifying storage solutions: Hyper-converged vs. SAN solutions
Data is king regardless of whether it is being used by an individual or by a large corporation. Regardless of the purpose, data is needed to ensure progress can be a consistent aspect of daily operations. Thus, proper storage solutions become a huge priority for this factor to be realized which can then be applied accordingly.

RAW Industries en route to a greener future
We are not kidding when we stress on the importance of being green. Whether on an individual level or businesses alike, processes need to be operated in an environmentally-friendly manner. Every little effort counts and we always have to start small before moving further up to a much more advanced level to create a better future.

Blockchain systems are tracking food safety and origins
I make up part of that 40% who believes that fraud in the food chain is difficult to detect. The worldwide industry is way too extensive for us to track down to the ultimate supplier and huge costs would be needed to make it happen. Eventually, it would be such a chore to perform this action and everyone simply take for granted the info that is being presented to them on the labels.

I reckon that the easiest way to save money while moving house is to not pack storage boxes full of old things, but to learn how to throw away! Doing more with less through technology
Well you know that they say knowledge is power right? And technology is a manifestation of what you could do with that knowledge - when you turn what you know into something that becomes a solution for it in a digital way! It could definitely change the world if you've got something that can sufficiently fix a problem for people !

Fria's Superfoods expands into mainstream health market
It wouldn't be surprising to see this small business entrepreneur eventually owning a manufacturing facility of her own in the near future. Looking at the population of "health freaks", the market demand out there has a huge potential for sure. People are becoming more health-conscious and drilling into this market has great prospects.

FWJK awards R535m construction contract to Concor Western Cape
A massive residential facility would definitely require only credible professionals to develop it to ensure the features that entice potential buyers are well added. Without key attraction details, even an impressive project wouldn't even intrigue anyone. These need to be taken into consideration and only the most experienced in the field can produce results.

Hazardous environments call for zero tolerance on alcohol use
I believe alcohol use should be restricted not only in a warehouse facility setting, but for other fields of work as well. When a worker is under the influence of alcohol, the focus level of that individual is greatly reduced. This could affect their general performance and also cause unwanted mishaps as well which are dangerous not only to them but to other employees too.

Influence marketing - tapping into the herd instinct
It is actually fascinating to see an entire group, be it animals or humans, acting together in a similar fashion though no prior instructions were given. It is as though they had already communicated prior to being at that very location to act as a single unit upon seeing a certain movement or hearing a certain sound.

Refurbishment, extension for Kwagga Mall
I wonder why they would do that - I mean, I think tit's perfectly fine to have an open air mall. They don't need to turn the whole facility into something enclosed just to lease more space when there are other alternatives available…

GCE scores five-year contract with Goldfields Logistics
You wouldn't think that there's a market for this sort of thing but you'd be very surprised! I mean just reading this article, doesn't it make sense that you would need more than single cleaning unit to keep the whole warehouse facility clean and neat? I reckon that the people who landed that contract is jumping for joy at the work they've secured for the company!

The 2018 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards nominees are...
This is a list that I think I'm going to want to follow! I reckon that we need more reviews of the good food and beverage outlets in the city. There are always new units popping up every other week that it's hard to keep track of what new mall has the best facilities and which new restaurants are now the most trendy!

Fastvan launches SaaS platform
This really makes me think about how useful it would be if you had some IT expert come in and just observe what you do at your facility or office every day, then come up with some amazing software to automate everything for you. Wouldn't that be neat?

Automation is key for distributors to act fast and meet customer demands
I think that a lot of distributors are struggling trying to find that sweet spot when it comes to moving items out of storage units and their facilities to the customer! They need to have better access to logistics solutions if you ask me!

Parcels delivered within two hours could be the norm by 2028
I think that a lot of people are expecting this sort of services already as we speak. People think that we retrieve the product unit from facility storage and immediately start flying towards them when they click the purchase button! I don't doubt that it will be possible in the future, but it's not fair to expect that of businesses at this juncture right?

Renting residential sectional title units as holiday accommodation
This new trend of renting sectional units provide a good opportunity for investors to make side income without being burdened by a longer-term commitment plan. This new market would also be suitable to those who are keen on a short-term investment due to various reasons that could be hindering them from committing much longer. It provides a different approach to the whole rental industry.
