Marks is the founder and CEO of Prime Business Capital, a Johannesburg based firm specialising in capital raising and financing. The firm's financing activities are spread over a wide range of sectors including mining (base metals, PGM's, coal, and precious metals, across the entire mining life cycle), airlines and aircraft acquisition finance, energy including solar and geothermal energy, oil and gas, healthcare and medical facilities, mixed-use comercial real estate development, water and sanitation, transport and logistics and agro-precessing.

Marks strongly believes in the development of a self-reliant Sub-Saharan Africa to build strong and sustainable economies that create employment for their citizens and alleviate poverty. To achieve this, he believes that the creation of regional economies across Sub-Saharan Africa is pivotal.
