I am a Marketing Generalist with a combination of Retail Marketing, Advertising Traffic and Events experience. I have a BTech Diploma in Marketing Management and also completed an Internet Marketing course through GetSmarter (UCT endorsed) which covered the digital aspects of online marketing.
I have 3 year's through-the-line Advertising Agency experience (Draft FCB CT), working in the Traffic/Operations Department as Traffic Manager. My main function was managing the creative and production process for all incoming jobs forming part of my portfolio.
I have a great passion for Marketing, Retail and all of its related fields and feel I can make a valuable contribution to ¬¬¬any department - in which planning and communication is vital - and be a valuable asset to the organisation. I am looking for a position that will allow me to use my current skills but at the same time expand my knowledge and create new and exciting challenges. My theoretical knowledge has definitely put me in good stead, but I feel that it is the on-the-job work experience and practical application that adds the most value. I believe that my best qualities are resourcefulness, resilience and taking pride in the service I provide - efficiency and positivity always remaining my key goals. I have the ability to multi-task and carry out a diverse range of responsibilities.
I am sociable, empathetic, have a genuine passion for people and find a challenging work situation stimulating. I am an independent, adaptable and solution seeking individual who uses initiative to get the job done in a fast-paced work environment with demanding deadlines. I have adopted a good interpersonal style when dealing with people at all levels and feel I add value to any organisation that I come into contact with.
