I have been a Facilities Manager since 2007 and some of my duties included:-
Technical Services- Air con service and repairs, carpeting and flooring, ceilings, doors and windows, electrical repairs, security equipment and access control, plumbing, waterproofing, UPS, generator etc.
Soft Services- Cleaning and hygiene, waste management, internal plants, garden services, tea/coffee stations, telecoms, premicell, office furniture, office automation, fleet management, Occupational Health and Safety, general repairs and maintenance, courier services, space planning and project management.
Office Management - Manage all staff in office management. This included mailroom, switchboard, stationery room, drivers and general office management staff (14 in total). Administration Services- Operational budgets, creditor payments, procurement process management, Sub lease tenant management and related services which includes recovering of utilities, rentals, invoicing excluding negotiation and drafting of lease agreements. I have obtained the following certificates:- - Basic Fire Fighting and Evacuation - Safety Representative - First Aider Level 1 - Certificate of Attendance - Strategic Facility Management - Certificate- Elements of Property - Certificate - Lease Negotiation
