Prior to Maitland, I have held a number of part time positions. Within the hospitality industry I have developed considerable customer service skills and strong communication skills that will allow me to effectively engage with clients. Additionally as a tutor and assistant teacher I have gained presentation experience enabling me to provide concise and professional presentations. I am very comfortable with computer systems and have the ability to teach myself new skills and techniques. The hospitality industry has further exposed me to high stress situations where I have had to be proactive and take initiative when solving unexpected problems.

Throughout university, effective time management and a passion for performing well have allowed me to excel academically. These characteristics will enable me to thrive in a company with uncompromising standards for high performance. Additionally a focus on research intensive subjects throughout my academic career has resulted in well-developed research skills that I believe could be put to good use within your company. Furthermore, by concentrating my attention on economic based subjects I have developed a strong ability to distil complex information.
