Legal aspects of corporate finance

Law@work, UCT Faculty of Law is pleased to present a two-day course on the legal aspects of corporate finance.

About the course
This course starts by looking at the different financial markets, including the governing legislation of each, their respective roles and those of the various financial market role players. It then looks in detail at the legal and tax aspects of the so-called corporate finance provisions of the 2008 Companies Act, the fundamental transaction provisions and how to assemble transactions. The course concludes with a comprehensive case study.

Attorneys, bankers, company secretaries, corporate legal advisors, financial institution employees and all those involved in the financing and structuring of commercial transactions.

Award of certificate:
A certificate of attendance from UCT will be issued to those who attend the full two days. Please ensure that you sign the attendance register each day.
