See: Platoon honours South African singers for Heritage Month

Platoon honours South African singers for Heritage Month. Simphiwe Dana, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Mandisi Dyantyis and Nobuhle are honoured for their musical contributions with a mural in Maboneng, Johannesburg.

Renowned street artist Dbongz has brought four Platoon music legends to life through street art, reflecting different decades and genres of artists who have enriched our cultural environment.

Simphiwe Dana, a South African and international singing legend, sings in IsiXhosa. Bongeziwe Mabandla is the enigmatic soul of African Soul. Nobuhle is a rising singer. She's sang for Kabza De Small, Sun-El Musician, and others. Mandisi Dyantyis's majestic voice and trumpet captivate the spirits as he performs jazz and gospel.
