Let's colour Tanzania

A wave of uplifting colour and change sweeps Dar es Salaam's SOS Children's Village.

Dar es Salaam's SOS Children's Village has recently received an uplifting splash of colour, thanks to the commitment of the Let's Colour Project to paint the facility's kindergarten.

Dulux, part of the world's number one paint company and a brand from AkzoNobel, launched the Let's Colour Project in 2010 as part of its mission to spread colour all over the world. The brand is working together with local communities across the globe, rolling up their sleeves to paint streets, houses, schools and squares in an effort to transform grey spaces with colourful paint.

"At Dulux, we are focusing on bringing colour to Africa and we have already touched the lives of communities living in Zimbabwe and Botswana. The young residents of the SOS Children's Villages of Tanzania inspired us and we trust that through the colourful upliftment of their school, we inspired them in turn to live happily and meaningfully," explains Dulux brand manager for central Africa, Bennum van Jaarsveld.
