Ad jury chair for Loeries selected

Pablo del Campo of Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, Argentina, has been selected as the advertising jury chairman for the 2010 Loerie Awards, the organisers announced yesterday, Tuesday, 18 May 2010.

&aqArgentina has been ranked third globally, for the fourth consecutive year, in the 2009 Gunn Report, and his agency is listed as one of the top five creative agencies in the world. Compared to a market size ranked only thirty-fifth in the world, it's obvious that Argentina punches well above its weight. He is Argentina's most awarded creative over the last fifteen years, and is one of the advertising leaders of the Ibero-American region.

He and his team have received 31 Cannes Lions, 41 Clios, more than 200 Fiaps and have been recognised at many of the most renowned national and international festivals and he has also received the Konex Award for Excellence in Communications.

Brett Morris, executive creative director at Draftfcb and chairman of the Creative Circle, says, "We are particularly excited about the fresh perspective he will bring as a South American. It will be really interesting to see what he thinks of our region's best work, and if he thinks that our unique voice is coming to the fore."

Loeries Judging Week will take place from 17-25 August 2010, and Del Campo will be speaking at the Judges Seminar, which takes place on 20 August.
