Who we are looking for

A senior marketing coordinator who will play a pivotal role in driving and executing marketing strategies that align with our business objectives.

What you will do

Strategic planning and execution

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Translate strategic briefs into actionable marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.

Retail and trade marketing

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with retail partners.
  • Plan and execute retailer promotions, in-store promotions, point-of-sale materials and retail campaigns.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales goals.

Digital and social media management

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing and website content.
  • Guide and mentor team members responsible for social media and online presence.
  • Utilise platforms like Google Ads, Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite to optimise campaigns.

Creative and design oversight

  • Lead the design team to ensure creative outputs align with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
  • Provide hands-on design support when necessary, utilising tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Develop marketing materials, including print collateral, digital assets and promotional items.

Team leadership and project management

  • Supervise and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure timely and efficient campaign execution.
  • Organise and coordinate events, activations and promotional activities.

Market research and trend analysis

  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, particularly in digital and retail marketing, to inform strategy.
  • Implement innovative marketing techniques, including the use of AI tools, to enhance efficiency and creativity.

What you will need

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, business administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Five to eight years of marketing experience, preferably within the retail sector.

Skills

  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
  • Hands-on design experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Confident, strong-willed and able to push ideas forward.
  • Proactive, creative and adaptable to changing market conditions.
  • Excellent project management skills.
