Electrical and Mechanical Assistant

Location: Huguenot Tunnel and Toll Plaza, N1 Paarl Western Cape Report To: Technical Manager

Qualifications and skills:

Grade 12 certificate
Experience in the maintenance of Toll Collection equipment would be an advantage
Basic Electrical and Mechanical knowledge will be an advantage
Excellent communication skills
Interpersonal relationship skills
Self-management
Basic Computer skills
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities:

Functional reporting to the Technical Manager and the Technician
Basic technician fault finding on electrical and mechanical equipment
Occupational health, safety, and machinery issues as contemplated in the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993
General maintenance in respect of electrical, mechanical, building, plumbing, welding, and painting
Work in elevated areas
Planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities
Perform any other reasonable tasks required by the Technical Manager and the Technician
