We are looking for a talented and motivated junior web developer to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, including theme and plugin customisation.
- Work on custom web design projects, ensuring responsive and visually appealing layouts.
- Support the development of custom web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices.
- Optimise website performance, security, and user experience.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Advanced understanding of WordPress (theme and plugin customisation).
- Basic understanding of PHP.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Basic understanding of website performance optimisation and SEO principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Bonus skills (not required, but a plus)
- Experience with PHP and WordPress theme/plugin development.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js.
