Revealed: How South Africans use GoogleCrowdsourcing is proving its efficacy as a method of research, particularly in the realm of social media. Google SA recently put this to the test in the local market, to great success... Back in May, Google SA invited South Africans to reveal their Zeitgeist by sharing their stories about Google with the #MyGoogleZA hashtag. It was run as a contest in partnership with 13 local bloggers and aimed to showcase how South Africans use Google in their everyday lives. Showcase it did, proving that when it comes to technology, South Africans really do use it day in and day out, for all sorts of things. See a selection of examples below:
