Fresh-baked pack for SaskoPackaging specialists, Just Design, upgrade South Africa's favourite bread Upgrading a much loved and recognised household brand is not easy but it's the type of challenge packaging specialists Just Design relish and recently undertook with SA's No. 1 bread brand - Sasko. The evolutionary approach balanced the need to modernise the pack creating a cleaner, fresher look and feel whilst not losing its visual equity and consumer recognition. To do this Just Design looked at the brands key design elements in turn and sympathetically refined them, from the logo through to the brand's distinctive background pattern and the introduction of the product benefit onto the side panels of the pack - a unique and dynamic design innovation that is a first for bread packaging in SA. Combining the above with a revised and strengthened architecture has resulted in a pack that is immediately recognisable on shelf as Sasko, but much improved.
