The rising status of citizen journalism

Editors Weblog reports that not only did The Washington Post invite local bloggers to its headquarters recently to discuss how they could contribute, next week, two of the 100 press seats at the trial of the US vice president's former chief of staff will be taken by bloggers and the BBC is planning to make its in-house journalism training website more open to the public.
