Gangs of Ballet launch fan video campaignGangs of Ballet want to bring their family of fans even closer by having them star in, direct and produce a video for their forthcoming single, House And Money, and create South Africa's first social media fan-made music video. ![]() Using Twitter's Vine and Instagram's video services, the band are asking fans to submit short clips to create an online, fan-produced video. With two big gigs coming up, they want fans to shoot their own experiences at Gangs of Ballet shows - having fun at the show, the band performing, them meeting the band - and they also want fans to shoot short clips that mean something to them outside of these shows. House And Money is a song about passion and letting go - about freedom - and the band wants fans to capture this feeling by shooting a multitude of clips anytime and anywhere over the next two weeks. Album giveawayBy uploading 15sec and 6sec videos on Instagram and Vine respectively, and tagging them with #YesNoGrey, the band will bring together a big selection of the best clips over the coming weeks and compile a ground-breaking video, tagging all of the producer-fans who made the video. The band will also be giving away 10 signed copies of their album, "yes/no/grey" to 10 of the producer-fans. Catch Gangs of Ballet at Campus Invasion, Pretoria on Saturday, 8 February and with a 50-piece orchestra at the Durban Botanical Gardens on 14 February.
