On the Dot has done a deal with One-Logics an ALT-X listed company. This transaction included the purchase of Press Support (Pty) Ltd, Media Express and a 61% interest in Internet Express (Pty) Ltd. These acquisitions put On the Dot in a position to increase its footprint in the logistics market. The transaction was finalized in early January 2011 when the Competitions Board approved the transaction.
Since 1995, Press Support has offered a distribution service of printed news matter and magazines with operations in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. "To ensure that we remain the market leader in the media logistics industry, we purchased Press Support, Media Express and Internet Express which is closely aligned to our business model. These businesses will add value to our existing business but also create new opportunities to serve our clients better" said Arend Kotzé, chief executive officer of the On the Dot Group.
