Digital Account Manager

Job descriptionWe are looking for a digital account manager with a proactive attitude, creative mind and exceptional communication skills to work on digital campaigns and CRM on some of the biggest names in the South African automotive industry.
The successful candidate will be a highly driven, young professional who has a proactive, positive attitude, great writing ability and social skills. You will assist the clients in achieving their objectives by creating campaigns and driving engagement. This includes identifying opportunities and ideas for media campaigns. You will also help grow client relationships into solid partnerships.
You will report to the digital marketing department but work closely with client service and project managers to ensure all communication is relevant, original and exciting for the brand's audience.
- Conceptualisation of email, SMS and print campaigns - creative content /image sourcing, etc.
- Administering all day-to-day activities and schedules
- Establish and maintain a productive communication between the client and the agency telephonically as well as via email
- Ensure a smooth and timely workflow of activities directed at the client
- Coordinate and manage all agency services to the client
- Compile weekly and monthly reports for each account
- Work with other departments to ascertain timetables, pursue estimate approval
- Follow the project from initial production to final presentation
- Identifying opportunities to improve current practices and campaign performance

- Ability to review campaign results and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ability to understand and report on Data Analytics for the client to understand
- Minimum two years' experience in an agency environment essential
- Proven experience with client liaison
- Good command of both written and verbal English, including business writing ability
- Display a strong sense of initiative
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure, work fast and efficiently
- Pleasant manner and sense of humour
- Ability to take accountability for tasks
- Multitasking and ability to run with multiple projects at once
- Have a great work ethic and be prepared to go the extra mile - a real team player
- Basic HTML knowledge
