A leading marketing agency is looking for an Experiential Marketing Account Manager to help run a large national marketing programme for one of our premium clients. We are looking for someone who is wanting to ramp up their career in the world of Marketing and help us trailblaze our way to creating a new industry category that bring lived experiences closer to digital and vice versa!

Key responsibility areas

Client Relationship Management
  • Proactively nurturing client relationships and understanding their business.
  • An eye for creativity but the maturity to nurture it in others and not let it distract from your strategic and business focus.
Budget Development And Management
  • Assist in budget development, manage costs.
Project Management
  • Resourcing.
  • Setting and meeting deadlines.
  • Effectively planning, controlling, monitoring and coordinating resources.
  • Client communication.
  • The ability to join the dots. From the client’s needs, to that of the business, strategically plan, and execute on the plan, in order to achieve the company’s short and long-term goals.
Team Management
  • Creates the best possible environment in which to bring out the best in your team.
  • National supervision and oversight.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Builds the respect and loyal commitment of team members, of the department and of the company as a whole.
Account Management
  • Billings and all required documentation such as PO numbers and supplier invoices.
  • Grow the account where possible.
  • Assistance with preparation and development of new business proposals.
Judgement/Decision Making
  • Demonstrate exceptional personal integrity across all spheres of business and life.
  • Subscribe to the company’s values and narrative.
Problem Solving
  • The ability to work independently: make decisions or find solutions to obstacles.
Planning and Organisation
  • Manage workload and personal calendar effectively to ensure deadlines are met and objectives delivered.
  • Attend weekly meetings to review workload and performance against targets and objectives.
Competencies and Skill Requirements:
  • Excellent administration and project management skills.
  • Understanding of Marketing and Experiential campaign management.
  • Ability to meet given deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to take initiative and be forthcoming with ideas and solutions
  • Experience executing promotions in the informal market will be an advantage.
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to present written information in a structured balanced way that is reader-appropriate.
  • Great client service skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Constant proactive knowledge acquisition and sharing of information relating to industry trends.
  • Actively research and do competitor analysis and strategies.
  • Ability to manage campaigns within budget.
 Minimum Requirements
  • Three to five years' Account Management experience
  • Must have extensive experience in managing BTL and Experiential campaigns.
  • Marketing or Advertising Diploma or Degree.
  • Project management certificate would be an advantage.
  • Must be willing to travel 60% of the time.
  • Drivers Licence and own car a necessity.
  • Computer literate in following programmes: Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
