Job description

Shiny Rock Polished is looking for a mid-level preferably female sales executive to join our luxury jewelry brand in Johannesburg. We are looking for a seasoned sale professional with a strong background in high-end jewellery sales and consultative sales for our team.

If you have a solid sales record in jewelry sales and can prove your track record in generating leads, leveraging your network, successfully qualifying clients, and closing deals, please do send us your CV so we can meet with you.

Shiny Rock Polished has been designing bespoke jewellery for our discerning clientele for over 20 years.
Our intimate knowledge of the industry, together with vertical integration ensures that the best quality jewels are supplied at the best possible price.


We are looking for a self-directed sales person who is able to do the following well:
  • Generate a clearly defined sales plan and implement it rigorously
  • Able to cold call and qualify clients based on inbound leads and referrals
  • Reach specific targets every month
  • Able to attend selected events and functions with the intention of finding leads and driving sales from these leads
  • Provide one on one consultations to achieve bespoke jewelry sales
  • Work under pressure to achieve stretch targets throughout the year
  • Work on a split between salary and commission
  • Manage and maintain CRM system with all aspects of the sales process
We are also looking for a person who comes with:
  • Expertise in high-end jewelry sales and dealing with high-end consumers
  • Have an established network to leverage
  • Ideas through which to generate high end jewelry sales
  • Is smart and adaptable and is able to work with challenging clients
  • Who presents well and has high emotional intelligence
  • A knowledge and experience of value driven selling and relationship sales

We drive a strong sales strategy via online campaigns and Google ad words so you will also receive inbound leads, however, your role at Shiny Rock Polished is to champion and drive outreach sales activity for the company.

We are a small but successful boutique jewellery business which drives our brand primarily through our online presence and through intimate and highly prized personal relationships which means your ability to build key relationships with our clients (existing and new) is key to the success of your role.
