Assistant Production Manager

Job description

• Overseeing the production process
• Traffic every job in production and knowing when it will be completed
• Brief the production team on the jobs and making sure the process is done correctly as per the job ticket
• Ensuring that production is cost effective
• Ensuring the products are produced in a timely manner and are produced within quality guidelines - Making sure all jobs will meet the deadlines
• Liaising among different departments
• Check that all printers have a priority list
• Each job to have approximate print time estimated on
• Advise if overtime is needed
• Inform Fargah if any of the jobs are running late
• Give update to reps on their jobs
• Supervising and motivating a team of workers
• Foreseeing potential problems before they happen

• Making sure all printers do a clean up every day
• Printers to supply you with a printed nozzle test pattern - Clearly marked and dated
• Record all errors and damages to machines in the log book

• Making sure of regular cleanup schedule for the production floor
• All stock needs to be packed in the storerooms
• Making sure you get an updated stock list that needs to be digitally recorded
• Identifying where training is needed and ensuring proper training is provided

Requirements

• Overseeing of production line
• Must have an eye for detail
• Able to put production planning processes in place
• Willing to work overtime and weekend at short notice
• Good communication skills
• Able to work on Excel documents
• Needs to be mobile
