Mid UI Designer

Job description

Wunderman Thompson is looking for a talented UI Designer to create amazing user experiences.  The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
 
Responsibilities for UI designer

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals and experience
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-of
• Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblock
• Create storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

• Qualification in relevant design direction
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design
• Proficient with visual design programs such as Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe CC, etc.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
• Experience creating storyboards and site mapping
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Professional written and interpersonal skills
• Continued education and research into UI trends and current design strategy and technology
• Understanding of coding and ability to troubleshoot regarding HTML, CSS and comparable languages
