Mid-Senior Digital Designer

An exciting opportunity has come up for a mid-senior Digital Designer at a small Digital agency in Cape Town’s Southern suburbs area. We’re looking for an ambitious digital designer. You should be a creative thinker with exposure to branding, UX and UI and Social Media Marketing. The agency specialises in web design, digital marketing and Social Media. Responsibilities

• Good understanding of UX principles (including wireframes)
• Good web design skills
• Working alongside developers to ensure proper implementation and consistency
• Exposure to animation is an advantage
• Designing social media content and advertising
• Generating ideas with the team 
• Compiling presentations with the team when required
• Attending client briefings
• Creating product graphics, logos, identity design, and other similar offline graphics.

The successful candidate must have/be:

• Graphic Design/Visual Communication Degree/Diploma
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ work experience
• Fluent in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects (advantageous) 
• Ability to interpret client briefs and make it your own
• Good web design exposure
• Portfolio showcasing web, digital and social media design
• Strong conceptual design skills
• Appreciation for typography and an eye for detail
• Good time management skills
• Fearless - not afraid to present your work and concepts to clients
• Ultimately wanting to think strategically.
