What are we looking for:
An exciting, full-time position is available at Orms as a creative consultant, specialising in framing consultation. Our services include a wide range of professional printing services and custom picture framing. The creative consultant is responsible for assisting clients with various printing and framing requirements, providing professional advice, and delivering quality customer service.
Summary of job description:
You will be working as part of a small sales team and will need to be self-motivated with excellent communication and customer service skills. The job involves serving both retail and trade clients, from consultation through to the complete fulfilment of their framing and printing requirements. You will advise on printing and framing for several types of media, including fine art, photographic content, and physical objects. As a consultant, you will also assist with file setup and manage your orders through production and delivery to the client.
Qualifications and experience:
The successful candidate will gain excellent technical knowledge across all aspects of the printing and framing process, including editing and setting up print files, mounting and displaying artworks, and all aspects of conservation-level frame making.
A passion for all forms of art and a keen eye for detail is essential. Applicants must be computer literate, with working knowledge of Photoshop/Indesign, the Microsoft Office suite, and proficiency in using social media in a work environment.
