Job description

  • Gather, aggregate and analyse data and information for strategic output
  • Work with other strategists and MD to iterate and finalise conclusions for final presentation
  • Evaluation of clients requirements to identify market and campaign opportunities, and propose programmes of work resulting from strategy
  • Develop strategies from information and briefs from clients relating to digital campaigns and brand objectives with creative, technology and account management team
  • Develop measurement models to determine performance and ROI
  • Competitor review for specific clients
  • Assist account managers with client strategy when required
  • Market and desk research
  • Business analysis
  • Business development
  • Experience in a digital agency, marketing department or publisher
  • Contribution to digital, business and/or communication campaign strategy or strategy consulting
  • Ability to conceptualise, think strategically, identify problems and come up with solutions
  • Ability to articulate thinking in a concise manner
  • Balance logical and analytical approach with creativity and brand literacy in order to develop insights and identify opportunities
  • Knowledge of consumer technologies, digital media, advertising and marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with clients
  • Strong presentation skills (create and present)
  • Work collaboratively and pro-actively within a team setting – internal and with client teams


  • Matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 5-7 years’ experience working a digital strategist
  • Google analytics
