Transnet hit by cyberattack - Operations disrupted nationwide

ISS Global Forwarding also announced on Twitter that it received information about Transnet being hacked.

The South African Association of Freight Forwarders said that the Transnet Freight Rail system was also hacked, bringing operations to a halt nationwide.

A source at the Durban port spoke to Reuters, saying: "We were told it's a cyberattack. The terminals can’t work, we can’t load or unload anything. This is going to impact the business badly."
