MediaVest keeps Nissan account
Having initially secured the Nissan in 2009, MediaVest will continue delivering the media strategy and implementation for the vehicle manufacturer following its successful pitch.
According to Gordon Patterson, Group MD of the Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), Nissan International decided, in alignment with corporate governance and standards globally, that the media business would go out to pitch this year.
"Obviously we're excited to be working on this business going forward and believe that the decision confirms the agency's ability. Robert Notrica and the team have done a good job and we look forward to strengthening the relationship with Nissan even further."
MediaVest, established two years ago in South Africa as part of SMG, is a global network with offices in 33 countries.
