Entries open for female-focused fashion mentorship programme

The Fashion Hatchery, the new fashion-focused division within The Startup Hatchery, has launched a fashion entrepreneurship programme aimed at aspiring or existing fashion entrepreneurs looking to build a sustainable fashion brand.
Entries open for female-focused fashion mentorship programme

Called the Women Supporting Women Fashion Mentorship initiative, the programme provides a mentorship platform led by The Fashion Hatchery and a number of female mentors in the fashion industry.

Aspiring fashion entrepreneurs gain access to a 30 day start-up online programme aimed at upskilling them with business skills. Mentors and entrepreneurs are matched to form a 30-day mentoring relationship aimed at helping entrepreneurs to start or grow a fashion business in 30 days.

Application criteria for aspiring fashion entrepreneurs:

• Young female fashion entrepreneurs, aged between 18 to 35, wanting to start or grow a business in the fashion industry
• Applicants must have a fashion business idea or existing fashion business operational for less than 12 months
• Applicants must submit their application online, which will then be reviewed
• Successful applicants will be notified in writing and required to participate in a 30-day startup virtual incubation programme as well as attend 5 one-hour virtual mentorship sessions with their allocated mentor
