This year's jury have already been working hard to judge the 858 entries received and arrive at a shortlist. The full shortlist is now available to view and download on the website here. Chaired by Bob O'Leary, head of global marketing for Citi, the 36 jury members will re-convene in Shanghai on Wednesday 11 May to continue their judging and decide on the much anticipated winners. The shortlisted work will be exhibited at the festival allowing delegates to view the best in Asian marketing effectiveness. The awards ceremony gala dinner will take place on Friday 13 May at which the winners of the 2011 awards will be announced. Delegates to the festival automatically gain entry to the awards allowing them to network and celebrate with their peers.

Ongoing throughout the two days is a programme of seminars which has been put together by a dedicated content committee led by Charles Wigley, chairman of BBH Asia. Focusing on this year's theme of 'unpacking effectiveness', speakers include: Rory Sutherland, vice-chairman of Ogilvy Group UK; Chuck Brymer, president and CEO of DDB Worldwide; Christopher Graves, global CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide; Aiyong, director of strategy, Sina; Pully Chau, chairman & CEO of Draftfcb Greater China; Tim Broadbent, global effectiveness director for Ogilvy & Mather Beijing; Dave McCaughan, director of strategic planning Asia Pacific for McCann Worldgroup and many more world-class names. The full Festival Programme is now available to view online with details of all the seminars and speakers.

Tim Waldron, managing director of Haymarket Asia, who with Cannes Lions are joint organisers of the festival, comments: "With entries nearly doubling year on year, the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival is firmly established as the benchmark standard marketing effectiveness awards in the region. Delegates to the festival are set to experience a stimulating and educational two days. With such a fantastic speaker line-up they are certain to come away feeling truly inspired by their industry."
