    Entry deadline now extended for SA's only arts sponsorship awards

    The deadline for entry into the only awards event celebrating the varied ways that business partners with arts in South Africa has been extended.
    Entry deadline now extended for SA's only arts sponsorship awards

    Entry into the annual Business Day BASA Awards supported by Anglo American, will now close
    on 17 May 2013.

    This allows more time for businesses to enter the arts projects that they have partnered with,
    anytime from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2012.

    Of the 15 categories in the annual Business Day BASA Awards, supported by Anglo American,
    12 are open for public entry and cover all creative mediums and different scales, from large
    to small.

    The categories open for entry are:

    • Innovation Award
    • First time Sponsor Award
    • Increasing Access to the Arts Award
    • International Sponsorship Award
    • Long Term Partnership Award
    • Media Sponsorship Award
    • Single Strategic Project Award
    • Small Business Award
    • Sponsorship in Kind Award
    • Youth Development Award
    • Arts and Environment Award, supported by Nedbank
    • Mentor of the Year Award, supported by Etana

    Created 16 years ago to celebrate and advance excellence, innovation and value in
    business and arts partnerships. Entry into the competition can be done by the business, the arts project or even
    a third-party.

    The easy-to-use online nomination system can be accessed on the BASA website at
    www.basa.co.za. The awards section features tips, guidelines, rules and regulations and online
    nomination forms. Information about previous winners can also be found on this website.
