    Nominations wanted

    Canadian journalists association seeks nominations for International Press Freedom Award.

    The Canadian Journalists for Free Expression (CJFE) is looking for nominations for its two annual International Press Freedom Awards, which honor journalists and media outlets that have faced risks to ensure that media remain free.

    Nominated journalists or media outlets must have demonstrated commitment on human rights overcoming odds or facing risks. Self-nominations are not admitted.

    Those willing to make a nomination must send a cover letter explaining how the nominee fulfills the criteria and including biographical and professional information along with samples of the nominee's work aired or published between 1 July 2005 and 30 June 2006. The nominee's contact details must be included.
