Delivery of modular plant will create jobs

"The plant will initially be producing road base aggregate and sands for brick and cement production," says Pilot Crushtec International national sales manager, Nicolan Govender.

Funded by a leading chrome producer, the initiative will create much needed jobs in one of its host communities by converting waste rock into road building and construction materials. Apart from creating employment in Steelpoort, the project will see an improvement in infrastructure in this rural area. The equipment will be installed and commissioned by a Pilot Crushtec International team which will conduct on-site training for community members.

The plant comprises a Tornado AC07 skid mounted crusher, a Pilot Modular GFH560 grizzly feeder, a Pilot Modular BR0605 impact crusher, a Pilot Modular DD3615 double deck dry screen, DD2412 double deck dry screen, two transfer chutes, a single Pilot Modular MC600 16m conveyor, three Pilot Modular MC600 13m conveyors and five Pilot Modular MC600 10m conveyors.
