Passenger to play three SA concerts

Passenger, the folk singer/songwriter, aka Mike Rosenberg, will be coming to South Africa in February 2015, to play at Durban Botanic Gardens on Friday, 13 February and at Zoo Lake, Joburg on Saturday, 14. He will then go down to Kirstenbosch to perform at the Summer Sunset Concerts on Sunday, February 15. Local talent will support the UK legend at the Joburg and Durban concerts.

The ballad Let Her Go topped the charts in 2013, establishing Passenger as a breakthrough in the international music scene. Let Her Go not only became one of the UK's biggest selling singles of all time; it is also the ninth most Shazamed song in the world, soundtracked to the most popular ad over the Superbowl and over 400 million views on YouTube.

"Whispers" is Passenger's sixth studio album, and although it only took five weeks to record, this cinematic sound brings Rosenberg's words to life, with guitar, glockenspiel, melodica and various percussion instruments filtering through.
