LexisNexis appoints strategy executive to drive innovation

Harisunkar most recently led a strategy and transformation team at a large South African teleco, leading the implementation of the digital transformation and advanced analytics agenda across 19 operating countries.

His new appointment is regarded as an important step in ensuring LexisNexis South Africa continues to leverage data and data analytics and remains at the cutting edge of industry disruptions and opportunities.

A strategy and digital transformation executive with a background in management consulting, Harisunkar has over 20 years’ experience across a multitude of industries, helping executive teams to solve challenges and deliver on their strategic priorities.

His qualifications include an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Henley Business School in the UK. He has also completed an Executive Development Programme through New York University (NYU).
