Fancourt announces Festive Season Programme

Day visitors, as well as guests staying at either of Fancourt's two luxury hotels, can look forward to Food and Wine Pairing experiences and Festive Culinary Feasts at the four restaurants on the estate, including the legendary Sunday Lunch Buffet at family-friendly La Cantina restaurant.

On 23 December 2013, Fancourt will host its annual Carols by Candlelight concert and the Fancourt Kidz Christmas Party takes place on 20 December in aid of the George Child and Family Welfare Association. During the holidays an Outdoor Picnic Concert on 27 December will feature US-based top rock band The Parlotones. Fancourt New Year's Celebration takes place in the Ballroom on 31 December.

The Classic Thursdays Concert series

The Fancourt Festive Season programme kicks off on 12 December with a performance by The Appassionata Ensemble, directed by Elisabeth Potgieter, which forms part of the Classic Thursdays Concert series of classic music and dance concerts (presented on selected Thursday evenings in the Ballroom until March 2014). The programme ends on 9 January 2014 with a Classical Piano Recital by top local pianists James Redfern and Laura Pauna.
