CGCSA Summit - Bringing the consumer packaged goods industry real solutions to the issues of the day

Following the huge success of the 2012 conference, Consumer Goods Council of South Africa (CGCSA) is pleased to invite past and new delegates to this year's instalment the organisation says. This annual edition of the summit themed "Energising the Industry - Building Sustainable Businesses in the New Normal" will take place on 15 and 16 October at the Forum, Bryanston, Johannesburg.

The CGCSA Summit advisory panel, consisting of top executives from a number of major South African Consumer Goods Industry businesses, have put their heads together to bring delegates a rich and relevant agenda, reflecting the true expectations of retailers, suppliers and third-party service providers.

Key themes to be addressed at the summit include:

  • The SA industry agenda;
  • Global and local trends and dynamics affecting the trade;
  • Marketing - Driving customer & shopper behaviour;
  • Supply chain - Effecting real efficiencies; and
  • Field sales - Winning at the Point of Purchase(POP).

"We at CGCSA are working once again to deliver a meaningful consumer goods industry event," says CGCSA CEO, Gwarega Mangozhe.
