PICA Awards now open, early bird closes today

The awards feature a new category titled '360 Degree Innovation', open to magazines that operate in the consumer, customer or business-to-business arenas and their related platforms. It recognises the interdependence of the various media channels, which magazine publishers use to understand, engage and inspire their audiences.

Early adoption of new platforms and technologies is crucial in publishers' quests to meet their consumers' needs. The measure of their success here is determined by innovative application of new concepts and by the degree to which they are able to integrate these new channels into their existing "conversations" - be they print, web, apps, mobile, social media, events, activations, research, retail, shows, events or conferences.

This year's event will take place at the Emperors Palace Hotel in Johannesburg on Thursday 15 November 2012.
