Reaching the "hidden generation"

The gap between the urban Black demographic and corporates, government included, has given birth to Foshizi Productions, founded by Lebo Motshegoa.

Motshegoa, who is popularly known for compiling the award winning township lingo glossary distributed by YFM; a winner of the SABC Adfocus People's award; and currently conducting Township Talk Seminars in association with the AAA School of Advertising, says "Corporates, Marketers, Government, Investors and others, increasingly see value in targeting Urban Black People. Sadly a communication gap exists between the two worlds that has to be bridged."

Foshizi, meaning for 'real', is the feeding arm of the corporate world. Through cutting edge research Foshizi produces creative business ideas suitable for the market. Thus, bridging the gap between urban, especially black people, the youth and the corporate world. This they do through creative adverts, radio commercials, consultation, scriptwriting, websites, lingo(s), magazines, strategy, SMS advertising, research and Township Talk Seminars. The Township Talk Seminars are open to companies interested in this "hidden generation".

"Integrating, learning words and phrases, customs and behaviors, tell the way of life of this hidden generation," adds Motshegoa. "This enables one to understand and communicate better."
