Travelcheck, Fasta launch new payment solution, Book Now. Pay Later

Travelcheck.co.za has introduced a new payment option for travellers. Called Book Now. Pay Later, the instant credit facility lets travellers book flights and travel immediately even if they lack the required funds at the time of booking. Travelcheck CEO Odette Faling, says: "We're pleased to be the first travel company in South Africa to bring this payment solution to market. Book Now. Pay Later will help our customers realise their travel dreams while minimising the upfront cost burden of airline tickets in challenging economic times."

Domestic and international airline tickets up to the value of R8,000 are eligible for Book Now. Pay Later and instalment contributions can be settled no later than three months after booking the flight on www.travelcheck.co.za. In addition, there is the option to pay a deposit if travellers prefer to use a portion of the credit allowance (capped at R8,000) to pay for their flight.

Travelcheck has partnered with leading credit for checkout specialists Fasta to provide a hassle-free risk-assessment process, which takes three minutes on the online booking site. Fasta’s CEO Kevin Hurwitz says: "We’re ready to help Travelcheck customers take advantage of their great ticket prices by using FASTA’s instant credit for checkout."

To qualify for Book Now. Pay Later, applicants need to earn at least R5,000 per month, be in possession of a valid South African ID and be 18 years or older.
